Experience Island Heritage Home

Patty and Jon are great hosts. They helped us with getting a rental Car, a tour, are always helpful and very sweet. Their English is perfect. The Breakfast is made by them fresh in the Morning and very good. They are very gentle but also leave You alone if you need time alone. There are two rooms upstairs - blue and red. We had the red that was very big and has a Couch , bed, a/c, van, beanbag. The Open Air shower is in the aisle but every room has it’s own. The pictures provided Show the Open Space that is Used by all guests. You have like 3 chillout areas and can use the fridges. The Pool outside is cute and good for a Short swim. Sometimes You Even can See Monkeys there. The house is renovated but an old traditional spot („teriang house“). A lot of wood and cute details. In Front of the house You can find a Pier on which you can Enjoy a Beautiful sunset. Even residents Drive here by Scooter to See it. You also have some great seafood Restaurants around and a small supermarket. The neighbourhood is authentic and away from the cliché inner City touristic hotels - we appreciated that a lot. If you are someone who is willing to See more from Langkawi beside the typical hotel boredom - thats your spot! Thanks again - wish this place only the best 🙏🏼 I would give you 6 stars.

We had a great time at your house. We enjoyed our trips with the scooter around the island Langkawi. In the evening, we had a romantic time at your terrace and seeing the young people and the fishermen.

We had a super great time here, especially with Jon. Had a very home like feeling house. The breakfast is great and the atmosphere is very welcoming. We couldn't get a chance to meet Patty, but Jon was always great and very helpful. At least we got the best tea in Langkawi on his suggestions. Scarborough was his recommendation and we are so going to recommend that to everyone else who plans to travel to Langkawi.  This cottage is beautifully decorated but we did have a view with too much sunlight in the bathroom :)

What an amazing experience, a heritage house with all the modern comfort. We especially love the heavenly bed in our spacious room and watching wildlife up close in the little forest in the backyard! We never woke up early enough to catch the sunrise, but the sunset at the fishermen's jetty was stunning every day.

Thank you so much for a very memorable stay.Our holiday wouldn't have been anywhere near as exciting & fun without all your help booking trips, cars, dinner etc! Your home is beautiful - we look forward to coming back soon!
